18 March 2013 - Bridget, my close friend
I am really proud of you. I know that’s dorky to say, but it’s true. So deal.
27 June 2012 - Kyle, my boyfriend
“Sometimes I’m taken back (surprised?) by how oridinary my life is. Do you ever get hit with that feeling? I can’t wait for us to go on our trip. I’m looking forward to the actual trip - traveling (aka - sleeping and koaling your arm.) If it was going to be summer, I would suggest we just take a roadtrip and camp and travel from archaeology site to archaeology site, only stopping to buy postcards and eat at shitty little dinners.”
16 June 2012 - Jen and Seth, my cousins
“Aw… remember snorkeling? Minus the getting ill, that was fun! I’m writing to than my lovely cousins for my birthday presents! The tequila is going quickly… I mean, a margarita with lunch is okay, right? It’s summer! So that translates to 24/7 vacation in my mind. Also, much thanks for the gift card! I plan to use it towards an archaeology field methods book - woo hoo! (It’s cool… I swear!) Can’t wait to see you!”
Remember this project? I didn’t do so good. I didn’t fail, because I never truly gave up on it. So let’s try again? Let’s.
17 June 2012 - Lisa, a friend
“Summer is my favorite. Campus is empty and I just wander about trying to find something to do in my free time. So I write too many postcards and drink coffee until I twitch.”
15 June 2012 - Kyle, my boyfriend
“I got 100 new postcards in the mail. I hope you’re ready for some ridiculous ones. This one is also on the wall in my room, remember?”
